A large fire raged in an industrial garage in West Philadelphia late Sunday evening.

The Philadelphia Fire Department first responded to the 400 block of Gross Street on November 17 just after 11:30 p.m.

Video taken by a witness near the scene showed firefighters cutting through the garage’s front door with a chainsaw to get hoses inside.

Additional units were called to the scene to help extinguish the fire as smoke poured through the roof of the building, according to fire officials.

The fire brigade had the fire under control around 12.15 pm

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
