Firefighters quickly extinguished a fire that broke out in a home in South Los Angeles on Tuesday.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the fire was first reported around 4:10 p.m. at a triplex in the 400 block of E. 61st Street, near Avalon Boulevard.

SkyCal flew over the scene of the fire, where firefighters could be seen working to extinguish flames that had burned leaves and belongings outside the home.

At around 4:30 p.m., they reported the fire was out, but not before it had spread to the front of the house. However, the fire was prevented from spreading to the two-story portion of the house.

Firefighters could be seen ventilating the roof of the building, with smoke billowing from the hole they had created.

There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
