First warning weather: stray showers possible north of NYC, but mostly a nice day

Although there were some heavy storms and many heavy rain showers, we survived Thursday’s Yellow Alert unscathed.

Thursday evening forecast

Tonight, lingering showers will eventually subside and humidity will decrease as skies clear. The low point will mainly be in the sixties.

Friday forecast

Friday looks to be a very nice day, with much lower humidity, more sunshine and highs around 80 degrees. A stray shower is possible, but especially north of the city.

All Atlantic beaches have a moderate risk of rip currents.

Weekend forecast

At the moment the weekend is looking reasonable.
