Fort Worth police are investigating a shots fired incident after a 911 caller reported he had been shot Tuesday evening, Oct. 22, officials said.
The shots were fired in the area of Glen Garden Drive and New York Avenue in south Fort Worth, police said. A group of suspects allegedly pointed at least one weapon at the victim, who passed by in a vehicle. Officers arrived at the scene around 10 p.m. and found bullet holes in the car.
A search warrant was executed at the home where the suspects were believed to be located, and five people were arrested. Police say the investigation is ongoing.
No injuries have been reported. The full police report is not available online, but according to police records, it appears the incident was drug-related.
