Florida conservationists warn that bear encounters may be more likely this summer

Florida Fish and Wildlife is warning of an increase in possible bear encounters this summer.

Officers said young bears leave their homes in the summer to find a place of their own.

They say the best way to keep bears away from you is to secure food and trash.
