The Florida High School Athletic Association will meet Tuesday to amend its bylaws.
It could allow student-athletes to profit from their name, image and likeness, known as NIL.
Under the rules, individual schools and districts would not be part of these deals.

The students and their guardians should negotiate these contracts independently.
The association says thirty states last year allowed high school students to receive NIL compensation.
