This week an interesting list was compiled of the most and least affordable NHL arenas to visit.

It turns out that hockey fans in South Florida are quite spoiled right now.

Not only does the Stanley Cup champion play at the Amerant Bank Arena, but the Sunrise Hockey Barn is also the least expensive rink in the league.

The Action Network conducted a comprehensive comparison of the 32 NHL arenas used during the 2023-24 season, scoring them based on a criterion that looks at the costs of six different things:

Four tickets, two beers, two soft drinks, four hot dogs, parking and child rates.

The only building in the NHL that was more affordable to visit based on those price points was Mullett Arena, the former home of the current Utah Hockey Club.

The top five, after Arizona and Florida, was completed by the Canadian Tire Center (Ottawa), KeyBank Center (Buffalo) and Nationwide Arena (Columbus).

At the other end of the spectrum, it was no surprise that the building topped the list of most expensive buildings.

Behind the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto were the T-Mobile Arena (Vegas), Madison Square Garden (NY Rangers), Bridgestone Arena (Nashville) and TD Garden (Boston).

Overall, it seems like life is getting better for Panthers fans.

The team recently won the Stanley Cup and looks set to compete for trophies for years to come, and it’s cheaper to watch them than any other team in the NHL.

Not bad, huh?
