On Tuesday, Florida voters will go to the polls and cast their ballots, deciding everything from the presidency to their U.S. senator and major policy issues like abortion and recreational marijuana.
The two major parties both see the race going in their favor, based on turnout in early voting and mail-in voting.
By Monday afternoon, Republicans had outvoted Democrats with nearly 850,000 votes cast statewide.
In Duval, the Republican party had a lead of more than 6,000 votes.

Evan Power, chairman of the Republican Party of Florida, expects a landslide victory up and down the ballot on Tuesday, based on the early voting advantage and the fact that Republicans also traditionally win elections on Election Day.
“What we’ve been able to do is increase the turnout of our voters who have a low propensity to vote, get them to the polls and that’s where our advantage comes from,” Power said.
But Nikki Fried, chair of the Florida Democratic Party, believes the potential for disruption is high.
She argued that there are fewer Republican voters left to cast ballots on Election Day than there are Democrats.
“Donald Trump asked them to vote early and they did. And so you saw not only here, but across the country that many voters voted early on Election Day,” Fried said. “The number of actual voters on Election Day who are Republican is very small compared to the number of strong Democratic voters we expect to vote tomorrow.”

Moreover, she expects there will be an abnormally high number of Republicans who cross party lines, especially when it comes to Republican women.
“All the way from Kamala Harris, all the way to Amendment 4. So this is going to be a very different cycle where you won’t see the traditional, an R vote is technically for Republicans,” Fried said.
But Power questioned Fried’s assessment, arguing that polls do not reflect any expectation of significant cross-aisle crossing.

“Donald Trump retains more of his base than Kamala Harris. He’s also winning Independents, he’s winning Hispanics. So he wins across the board,” said Power. “We’re going to have a great night and Nikki Fried is going to have to clean up the mess when it’s all over.”
On the Peninsula, polls close at 7:00 PM EST.
We can expect the first set of results about an hour later, after polls close in the panhandle.
