PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Flyers fans are excited about the Matvei Michkov era will have to stay up late to watch his NHL debut.
The Philadelphia Flyers announced their 2024-25 regular season schedule on Tuesday, which begins with a four-game trip to the West Coast.
Philadelphia opens the season against Rick TikketThe Canucks are in Vancouver on Oct. 11, then head to Calgary, Edmonton and Seattle. All four games start at 10 p.m. ET.
The Flyers next host the Canucks in their home opener on October 19. It will be the third time in four years that the Flyers have met the Canucks in their home opener.
Some highlights from the Flyers’ 2024-25 schedule:
- Philadelphia will play 10 games in March, the most of any month
- The Flyers have a seven-game home streak in March, also a season record
- There will also be a five-game road trip in March, the highest number of games of the season, from March 17 to 25.
- The schedule features 13 consecutive games, one more than last season
- Philly will play 11 three-game, four-night sessions and 13 four-game, six-night sessions.
Philadelphia will conclude the 2024–25 season in Buffalo on April 17, 2025.
