The 19-year-old Barkey is having another excellent season in the OHL as captain of the London Knights. In 23 games, the 6-foot-1 forward has five goals and 31 points. This includes nine points over his last five games and 20 points over his previous ten games.
Although Barkey did not make the final roster of Canada’s WJC, there is no doubt that his future looks incredibly bright and he is one of the Flyers’ most exciting prospects.
While Barkey didn’t make Canada’s final roster, fellow Flyers prospects Jett Luchanko, Oliver Bonk and Carson Bjarnason did.
