McLeod, 26, was charged with sexual assault along with former NHLers Alex Formenton Carter Hart, Dillon Dube and Cal Foote.
Due to the allegations, the Devils walked away from McLeod at the end of the 2023-2024 season.

McLeod signed with Barys Astana in August and was released less than three months later. Any interested team can now sign him as a free agent. However, that does not apply to NHL players, given the nature of the charges and the ongoing litigation.
McLeod played in 287 NHL games, all with the Devils, and scored 85 points.
