Former Tempe Tech President found guilty of sexual exploitation of a minor

A Tempe man who formally headed a major technology company was found guilty Wednesday of sexual exploitation of a minor after sexually explicit material depicting children was found on his laptop.

Tempe police arrested Raymond Zwiefelhofer, 61, in 2022 after an investigation revealed incriminating material had been uploaded online through an internet connection from Zwiefelhofer’s work, World Software Corporation, according to court records.

Zwiefelhofer was president in 2009 of the company, which organizes, stores and manages electronic documents for law firms and other similar organizations.

Zwiefelhofer was convicted by a Maricopa County Superior Court jury on 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and will be sentenced on November 8.
