Four people hospitalized after single-vehicle accident in DeLand

The DeLand Fire Department responded to a crash at South Julia and West Voorhis around 3 a.m. Sunday morning.

According to the DeLand fire department, there was a single-vehicle accident involving a vehicle with four people in it.

According to the fire department, one person was thrown from the car when it crashed into some trees.

Three other passengers were also injured in the crash and were all taken to a local hospital.

Two were recorded as trauma alerts.
