New Jersey’s Cape May County Park & Zoo, open through the Fourth of July weekend and hosting a free summer concert series by the Loose Cannon Band on Saturday, July 6, ranks third on USA Today’s “10 Best Free Attractions” list.
Billie Jean the bear may have helped improve the standing of Cape May County Park & Zoo.

Getting around Philadelphia is easy as you celebrate the 4th of July. The city was named the best city to walk by USA Today’s “10Best” panel.
“Philadelphia is beloved for its cultural and historical attractions, and its walkability is prized by residents and visitors alike,” according to the description from USA Today’s “10Best” panel. “Tourists would likely most enjoy a stroll through Center City — home to the historic Old City and beautiful Rittenhouse Square neighborhoods.”
