Frederick County represented at the State House tree exhibit

Frederick County participates in the annual holiday tree display at the Maryland State House in Annapolis.

The Frederick County tree was decorated by Green-walled Garden Club, Tasker’s Chance Garden Club and The Garden Club of Frederick.

It celebrates native garden and plant pollinators.

The garden clubs said the decorations included various designs of bright and whimsically colored birds and decorative hand-painted birdhouses, as well as colorful bumblebees, natural material beehives, ladybugs, butterflies and images of framed pollinator flowers.

The trees are on display at the State House until December 31.
