GA police are searching for man they say intentionally set a corner store on fire

Cartersville Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man who deliberately set fire to a corner store.

Police say CPD officers responded to 308 N Tennessee Street in Cartersville on September 18 for a fire call.

The address corresponds to Tienda Rincon Guatemalteco or the Guatemalan Corner Store.

During the course of the Cartersville Fire Department’s investigation, they concluded that the fire was intentionally set and turned their findings over to the CPD.

The CPD has identified an individual they believe is responsible for starting the fire and is asking anyone with information to call the CPD Criminal Investigations Division at 770-607-6230.
