Regional gas prices fell for the second week in a row on Monday, averaging $3.115 per gallon of regular fuel, down from last week’s price of $3.117 per gallon, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.
The average fuel price in the Central Atlantic region has fallen by about 6 cents since last month. According to the EIA, gas prices in the region over the past year have been as low as $3.12 on November 18, 2024, and as low as $3.85 on August 7, 2023.
A year ago, the average gas price in the Central Atlantic region was 10% higher, at $3.44 per gallon.

The average gas price in the United States last week was $3.05, putting prices in the Central Atlantic region about 2.3% higher than the national average. The average national gas price is down from last week’s average of $3.05 per gallon.
The U.S. Energy Information Administration’s price list in the Central Atlantic states includes Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
