Gas prices in the Central Atlantic region have fallen compared to last week: see how much here

Regional gas prices fell last week, reaching an average of $3.12 per gallon of regular fuel on Monday, down from last week’s price of $3.13 per gallon, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

The average fuel price in the Central Atlantic region has fallen by about 1 cent since last month. According to the EIA, gas prices in the region over the past year have been as low as $3.12 on November 18, 2024, and as low as $3.85 on August 7, 2023.

A year ago, the average gas price in the Central Atlantic region was 8% higher, at $3.40 per gallon.

The average gas price in the United States last week was $3.03, putting prices in the Central Atlantic region about 2.8% higher than the national average. The average national gas price is down from last week’s average of $3.04 per gallon.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration’s price list in the Central Atlantic states includes Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
