Gas prices in the central Atlantic region rose compared to last week: see how much here

Regional gas prices rose last week, reaching an average of $3.64 per gallon of regular fuel on Monday, up from last week’s price of $3.63 per gallon, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

The average fuel price in the Central Atlantic region has fallen by about 5 cents since last month. Gas prices across the region last year were as low as $3.18 on January 15, 2024, and as high as $3.85 on August 7, 2023, according to the EIA.

A year ago, the average gas price in the Central Atlantic region was 1% lower, at $3.60 per gallon.

The average gas price in the United States last week was $3.58, putting prices in the Central Atlantic region about 1.8% higher than the national average. The average national gas price is down from last week’s average of $3.58 per gallon.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration’s price list in the Central Atlantic states includes Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
