Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo has been ruled out for Monday night’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, the team announced. Antetokounmpo will miss the game due to a right adductor strain.

The Bucks did not provide any additional information about the injury or whether the two-time NBA MVP will miss any more games.

Antetokounmpo was once again a key figure on both ends of the court for Milwaukee, leading the team in points and rebounds. So far this season, Antetokounmpo is off to his typically dominant start, averaging 31 points, 12.3 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game.

The loss of Antetokounmpo is a major blow to Milwaukee, which sits at the bottom of the Eastern Conference. The Bucks are off to a rough start and are 1-5 on the season; Cleveland is now 7-0 and at the top of the East.
