PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — The Fourth of July is here and if you’re in need of some last-minute red, white and blue gear for your barbecue or just want to stock up for the weekend, you’ll want to make sure your favorite store is actually open on the holiday.

Some local businesses and regional chains have adjusted their hours for the Fourth of July, though many places remain open. Here’s a quick look at which businesses are open, closed, or changing their hours on the Fourth of July in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.

Parking and trash pickup in Philadelphia

The Philadelphia Parking Authority will not enforce parking meters or parking time limits for residents on July 4, one of nine parking holidays scheduled for 2024. However, you can still receive a ticket if your parking behavior impacts safety or traffic flow.

Philadelphia’s garbage collection is delayed one day due to the holiday. Garbage must be taken out after 7:00 p.m. the day before collection day.

Phillies and Eagles team store closures and hours of operation on July 4

The New Era Phillies Team Store is closed today, so you’ll have to wait until Friday to purchase the July Phillies Pin of the Month or Phillies Broadcaster apparel.

Rally House stores are open.

The Eagles Pro Shop at The Shops at Rockvale in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, will open on the Fourth. The Eagles Pro Shops in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, and Lincoln Financial Field did not say whether they would be open today or have changed their regular hours.

Grocery Shopping: Which supermarkets and markets are open, have adjusted opening hours or are closed on July 4?

Giant Food Stores in Philadelphia and surrounding areas will be open for regular business hours on July 4.

Whole Foods Markets in Philadelphia and surrounding areas are open, but closing early at 6 p.m.

Most grocery stores at Acme Market will be open, but will close an hour early, at 9 p.m. Customers are advised to check with their local pharmacy to see if their hours have changed for the holiday.

ShopRite grocery stores under Zallie’s Family Markets will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on July 4. No grocery deliveries will be provided, but grocery orders and pickups will be available from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Pharmacies will be closed.

Weis Market supermarkets will be open on July 4 and will operate normal business hours.

Redner’s supermarkets in the Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley regions are open during normal business hours.

South Philly Food Co-op opens at 9am, but closes early at 7pm.

The Reading Terminal Market is closed.

SEPTA Transit: Sunday/Holiday Schedule Services

All SEPTA transit will operate on a Sunday schedule. All routes that do not operate on a Sunday schedule will not operate on July 4th. There will be additional service and regional rail lines that will operate on July 4th for transit relief during the holiday.

Retail Shopping: Mall Closures and Time Changes in the Philadelphia Region

The shops at Liberty Place are closed on Thursday, July 4.

Philadelphia’s Fashion District is open and operating normal business hours.

The Deptford Mall opens at its normal time of 10am, but closes earlier at 6pm.

The King of Prussia Mall and Cherry Hill Mall are also open, but both close at 7 p.m. instead of 8 p.m.

Banks and UPS services: largely closed

Since July 4th is a federal holiday, most banks will be closed, with some ATM services still available. This includes regional banks in the Philadelphia area, including The Bank of Princeton, Fulton Bank, Parke Bank, PNC Bank, and WSFS Bank.

All UPS and postal services are closed.
