WILLIMANTIC — The Connecticut Department of Agriculture has announced the start of Connecticut Grown for Connecticut Kids (CTG4CTK) Week, now running through October 11.
The week started with a visit to Beman Middle School in Middletown, where nearly $80,000 was announced to fund 19 CTG4CTK micro-grant projects.
Once implemented, these awards will help continue to develop farm-to-school programs throughout the state that have the potential to positively impact more than 3,300 students.
