Gold Long John was the first major footwear manufacturer to help GTT commercialize Empel. In 2023, Gold Long John installed Empel’s patented production machinery at its Vietnam facility and is now moving ahead with plans to install machinery at its Taiwan facility. The patented machinery will change the way anti-wicking chemicals are molecularly bonded to footwear, protecting it from inclement weather.
