Thursday is a big travel day and the weather conditions are ripe for great travel!
Cold temperatures in the morning will have you warming up your car a little early, but tons of sunshine will blanket the region with unseasonably cold high temperatures in the upper 30s. However, a warm-up begins after Thursday as we head into the weekend with highs in the 40s on Friday and Saturday, warming into the 50s on Sunday.

In fact, our overall pattern remains uncertain for the final days of 2024, with unseasonably warm and wet conditions to ring in the new year. In fact, the evening looks to be wet and warm, with midnight temperatures possible in the mid-40s on New Year’s Eve.
As for rain, we really need it! December so far has recorded 2.28 inches, which is more than an inch below normal, and looking back to September 1st our total is only 5.57 inches, making it the fourth driest period on record (over 150 years ). and a whopping 8.51 centimeters BELOW normal!
