CHICAGO (CBS) — Chicago police are warning businesses in the North and Northwest about recent break-ins in the area.

According to police, four men wearing dark face masks and gloves are wanted for breaking and entering into burglaries and thefts at at least three businesses in Portage Park and North Park.

Video shows the group pulling up in a gray SUV wearing masks. Police say they then smashed the store’s glass window to gain entry. Once inside, the thieves targeted cash registers, safes and the businesses’ office spaces before fleeing.

The incidents occurred at the following times and locations:

  • 3300 block of West Bryn Mawr Ave., on September 9, 2024, at 1:34 AM
  • 6300 block of West Irving Park Rd., on September 9, 2024, at 2:22 am
  • 6300 block of West Irving Park Rd., on September 9, 2024, at 2:25 a.m.
