Gunman flees deadly San Pedro while shooting at bicycle, police say

Police are searching for the alleged gunman who killed a man in San Pedro on Saturday and fled on a bicycle.

According to Los Angeles Police Department investigators, the shooting happened in the 2000 block of S. Pacific Avenue around 9:20 p.m.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation, but police arrived to find the victim, identified only as a 48-year-old man, dead from a gunshot wound.

Detectives had no description of a suspect other than that he had fled on a bicycle and was last seen near 18th Street and Grand Avenue.
