Lacey police are asking the public to help identify a man accused of assault.
Sometime on the morning of May 29, police say the man, without provocation, attacked a “random citizen” at a bus stop in the 4700 block of Corporate Center Drive.
Corporate Center Drive runs between College Street Southeast and Yelm Highway.
Although the attack happened that morning, the victim did not report it until the person needed medical attention, a dispatcher said. The 911 medical call came in around 1:45 p.m. on May 29.
The Olympian has also contacted the police. The man is between 6 feet and 6 feet tall and was last seen wearing dark pants, a blue blazer and brown shoes.
