Voters in the Marshfield area went to the polls Tuesday to vote on two amendments to the state constitution and to select candidates to represent parties in the Nov. 5 general election.
The positions up for election include the U.S. Senate, U.S. Congress, Wisconsin State Senate, Wisconsin State Assembly, and Wood County elected officials: district attorney, clerk, treasurer and land clerk.
Below are the results from Tuesday’s partisan primaries.
US Senate
Republican Eric Hovde is running against incumbent Democrat U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin in the November general election. As of early Wednesday morning, 97.24% of the votes had been reported and The Associated Press had called the race.
Republican Party
Eric Hovde: 476,211 (86.3%)
Charles E. Barman: 40,854 (7.4%)
Rejani Raveendran: 34,534 (6.3%)
7th Congressional District
Democrat Kyle Kilbourn will face incumbent Republican Rep. Tom Tiffany in the November general election.
Democratic Party
Kyle Kilbourn: 32,920 (58.1%)
Elsa Rae Duranceau: 23,785 (41.9%)

District 69 Meeting
Republican Karen Hurd of Thorp will face Democrat Roger Halls of Stanley and Independent Joshua Kelly of Greenwood in the November general election.
Republican Party
Karen Hurd: 3,892 (57.2%)
Lori J. Voss: 2,909 (42.8%)
District 86 Meeting
Republican John Spiros will face Democrat John H. Small of Marathon in the November general election.
Republican Party
John Spiros (i): 3,709 (43.3%)
Woman Rozar: 2,721 (31.7%)
Triangle spindle: 2,143 (25%)
Constitutional amendments
As of early Wednesday morning, 98.78 percent of the state’s votes had been cast for the two constitutional amendments on Tuesday’s ballot. The Associated Press had called the race on both questions.
