Here’s how each school in Lexington County ranked on the 2024 SC report cards

The S.C. Department of Education released the report cards of every school in South Carolina this week.

The report cards, based on the 2023-2024 school year, rank each school on a 100-point scale and designate each school based on where they fall.

In Lexington County, the rankings yielded 13 excellent schools, including 18 good, 27 average, 11 average and two failing.

The schools that deserved the top excellent ranking includes:

Meadow Glen Midden

Halfway through Elementary

New Providence Elementary

Rocky Creek Elementary

Statewide, 230 schools (18.3%) were rated as excellent, 316 (25.2%) are good, 477 (38%) are average, 186 (14.9%) are below average, and 47 (3 .7%) are unsatisfactory.
