PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – After a few days of high temperatures and sunshine, our next weather maker will move into the region on Wednesday.
The day will start cloudy with some areas of fog and then become sunny from about 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Scattered showers and storms will begin to develop in the afternoon and evening, and while this system doesn’t look like it will have any serious weather impacts, localized rain showers are possible due to high humidity.
A stray shower could also potentially impact Wednesday night’s game at Citizens Bank Park. The first pitch is scheduled for 4:05 p.m

A more organized system will move through the Delaware Valley tonight, which could bring some overnight thunderstorms and heavier rain.

Thursday will be slightly drier but even more humid, with a mix of sun and clouds and a chance of a few showers again in the afternoon and evening.
A cold front moving through Thursday evening will help drop high dew points and clear things out for Friday, although some clouds and sprinkles could pop up in the Poconos.

Weekend outlook
The weekend is currently on the drier and sunnier side thanks to lower humidity.
There is still a chance for a stray shower Sunday evening, but overall the weekend in Philadelphia looks sunny and warm with highs in the 70s and low 80s.
