MINNEAPOLIS— While it will still be warm in Minnesota on Tuesday, a downward trend will begin as a cold front approaches.
We won’t have another 80 degree afternoon like the past few days, but highs will reach the mid 70s in the Twin Cities.
Clouds are increasing and that cold front is approaching in the evening. An occasional splash cannot be ruled out, although activity will mainly remain in the north.
Wednesday will be sunny, with highs in the mid 50s, about average for this time of year. After that, highs will hover between the 50s and 60s throughout the weekend.
We have another chance to break our dry streak on Thursday.
Next week will probably be another short warm-up.
