A hiker who fell near Mulholland Drive in Studio City Wednesday evening was rescued by firefighters.
The rescue took place on Mulholland Drive and Skyline Drive between Laurel Canyon and Coldwater Canyon around 9:30 p.m. Firefighters from the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene to assist the hiker.
Fire officials said a man fell about 50 feet down a steep slope and was rescued with the help of two search and rescue helicopters.
The fire brigade successfully brought the man to safety around 9.45 pm. He was not injured.
