MINNEAPOLIS— Saturday and Sunday will remain mainly dry, although there is a chance of scattered showers in parts of the state.
The holiday weekend started off clear and cool, with temperatures in the low 40s on Saturday morning. The chances of rain through Tuesday are not zero, but there is plenty of dry time in between to enjoy the outdoors.
High temperatures on Saturday will rise into the 70s. There is a chance of some rain in central Minnesota.
There will be a higher chance of rain Sunday morning, especially in southern Minnesota. Some large-scale showers are expected on Monday, but it will remain light and spotty.
Sunday and Monday will be cool, with temperatures in the low 60s.
However, high pressure returns Tuesday through the end of the week, ending the uncertain pattern and returning warm temperatures.
