Police are looking for a hooded stranger who harassed a 9-year-old Brooklyn girl as she walked to school, police said Saturday.
The victim was walking along 59th St. near Eighth Ave. around 7:45 a.m. Thursday. in Borough Park when a young man wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt approached her.
The man lunged at the child, ran his hands down her body over her clothing and touched her genitals, police said.
The stranger then ran away, the child, who was not physically injured in the encounter, told police.
Police searched the area for surveillance footage until they found images of the payer.
Detectives released the images on Saturday in the hope that someone will recognize him.
The payer is described as being light-skinned, between 5’10” and 6’2″, with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
