Overnight thunderstorms brought more rain to the Milwaukee area Monday after a particularly stormy weekend that resulted in at least six confirmed tornadoes across the state.
The forecasts predicted up to an inch of precipitation. Milwaukee didn’t come close to that at all, but some surrounding communities came close.
Another round of thunderstorms was expected to hit southern Wisconsin in the early morning hours Tuesday, with strong damaging winds expected to be the main concern, according to the National Weather Service’s latest forecast.
