How to buy them before they’re discontinued

Girl Scout cookie season is back, which means it’s finally time to eat Thin Mints and Tagalongs again.

However, this year’s cookie season is not only the time to buy all your favorite cookies, but also to stock up on a cookie that will be retired from the lineup after this year.

According to the Girl Scouts website, 2025 is the last year for both Toast-Yay! and Girl Scout S’mores. Although S’mores won’t be available at Southeast New England Girl Scout troops this year, you can still purchase Toast-Yay! local. Here’s how to grab the last Toast-Yay! treats, as well as all your other favorites.

Where to Buy Girl Scout Cookies in RI

Girl Scout cookies are available for purchase nationwide from January through April, although local sales may end earlier. This year, cookies cost $6 per box. Here are the ways to purchase the cookies:

• Contact registered Boy Scouts you know to find out how they sell cookies.

• Order cookies online on or after Friday, February 21.

• Text COOKIES to 59618 for information on purchasing Girl Scout Cookies.

Want to buy Girl Scout cookies in person? Here are the cookie lineups for both Girl Scout troops in Southeast New England:

• Adventurefuls: delicious brownie-like cookies with a topping of caramel cream and a touch of sitting salt

• Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookie (gluten-free and peanut-free): chewy cookies with rich caramel, semi-sweet chocolate chips and a hint of sea salt

• Caramel deLites/Samoas: crispy cookies with caramel, coconut and chocolate stripes

• Do-si-dos/Peanut Butter Sandwich: oatmeal cookies with peanut butter filling

• Lemonades: Shortbread cookies with a tangy lemon-flavored glaze

• Peanut Butter Patties/Tagalongs: Crispy cookies covered in peanut butter and covered in a chocolate layer

• Thin Mints: crunchy chocolate cookies dipped in a delicious mint chocolate coating

• Toast-Yay!: Toast-shaped cookies packed with French toast flavor and dipped in frosting

• Trefoils: Shortbread cookies inspired by the original Girl Scout cookie recipe
