PRE-RACE: The garage opens at 12:30 PM… Drivers’ meeting is at 2:40 PM… The drivers’ introduction is at 3:00 PM. The invocation will be made at 3:30 PM…The national anthem will be performed by Marina Moje at 3:31 PM.

DISTANCE: The race lasts 110 laps (218.9 miles) on the 3.99 kilometer road circuit.

PHASES: Phase 1 ends on lap 25. Phase 2 ends on lap 55.

STARTING LAYOUT: Qualifying starts on Saturday at 6 p.m

TV/RADIO: Fox will air the race at 3:30 p.m….Pre-race coverage begins at 2:00 p.m. on FS1 and moves to Fox at 3:00 p.m….Performance Racing Network coverage begins at 2:30 p.m….SiriusXM NASCAR Radio will Provide PRN broadcast .

PREDICTION: Underground again: Sunny skies with a high of 27 degrees and no chance of rain at the start of the race.

LAST TIME: Martin Truex Jr. led 51 of 110 laps and scored his fourth career win at Sonoma and third in the last five races there. Kyle Busch finished second. Joey Logano finished third. Pole-sitter Denny Hamlin won the opening stage, but crashed on the final stage, finishing last in the 36-car field.
