The 2024 Olympic Games in Paris are fast approaching, but before we dive into 16 days of competition in gymnastics, diving, swimming, track and field and more, it’s time to see who will make the cut for Team USA at the 2024 Olympic Team Trials. Next up: the Olympic Track and Field Trials. Starting today, athletes — including six-time world champion Noah Lyles, defending Olympic women’s 400-meter hurdles champion and world record holder Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone and reigning world 100-meter champion Sha’Carri Richardson — will gather at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon to compete . for a spot on Team USA.

The 2024 Olympic Games in Paris officially start with the opening ceremony on July 26. However, some events start their competitions earlier, including handball, rugby and football, with events starting as early as July 24.

Like the Olympic Team Trials, NBCUniversal will be home to the 2024 Olympics, with most of the action airing on NBC and streaming on Peacock. Select events will be broadcast on USA Network, Golf Channel, CNBC and E!.
