The Jacksonville Jaguars are set to play back-to-back games in London, but their arrival there is delayed by Hurricane Milton.

A team spokesperson told the Associated Press on Thursday that the departure time of the Jaguars’ flight to London will be delayed “slightly.” The team, which has played in London eleven times, usually departs on Thursday evening and arrives on Friday morning. While we don’t know how long their delay is, the Jags canceled a Friday morning press conference and rescheduled it for Saturday morning.

The Jaguars play the Chicago Bears at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday and remain in London for their Week 7 matchup against the New England Patriots at Wembley Stadium.

Hurricane Milton, a Category 3 storm when it made landfall on Wednesday, has caused widespread disasters throughout Florida, but especially in the Tampa area. Raymond James Stadium, where the Tampa Bay Buccaneers play, flooded fairly quickly. Even more astonishing, the roof of Tropicana Field, where the Tampa Bay Rays play, was almost completely blown off by the storm.

However, the storm is not expected to cause additional NFL delays. Thursday night’s game will be played in Seattle, which is far away from the storm. The Jaguars’ late arrival in England has only resulted in one press conference being rescheduled and is unlikely to affect the rest. The London match is expected to start on time (Sunday at 9:30am ET), as are the rest of Sunday’s matches.
