Police are investigating after a body was found in a trash can in Middletown.
Middletown police responded to a report of a possible deceased person at 11:08 a.m. Monday at 1000 Centennial Avenue, according to a police social media post.
Officers found a deceased person in a trash can in the alley at the scene, police said.

The Butler County Coroner’s Office arrived on the scene and seized the body.
“Our office is conducting an investigation to determine the cause and manner of death,” said Martin Schneider, administrator of the Butler County coroner’s office.
