US stock markets will close early on Friday, November 29, after closing completely on Thursday, November 28 for Thanksgiving.
The Nasdaq and New York Stock Exchange are both closed on Thanksgiving and will reopen on November 29, but will close early at 1:00 PM ET. The U.S. bond market will also be closed Thursday and is scheduled to close Friday at 2 p.m. ET, according to the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association.
After the Thanksgiving shutdown and the early shutdown on Black Friday, it will be business as usual on Wall Street until the end of December. The next full day closure of the market is on Wednesday, December 25, in honor of Christmas. The markets are also expected to close earlier on Christmas Eve.
