Israeli airstrike in Beirut kills top Hezbollah commander

Lebanon’s health minister says the death toll from an Israeli airstrike in Beirut has risen to 31. Hezbollah says a second senior commander is among those killed in the attack, after the militant group suffered an unprecedented blow after explosions in pagers and walkie-talkies in Lebanon and Syria killed at least 37 people.
