In the aftermath of the storm that brought much-needed precipitation to the region, there were gusty winds all day Saturday that would last through the night. These winds will keep wind chill temperatures in the 20s and 30s, while actual low temperatures will be in the mid 30s to 40s.
Wind gusts of 50 to 60 km/h are still possible on Sunday, but with more sun it won’t feel as strong. Highs will reach lows into the mid-50s.
Thanksgiving week forecast
A brief return to above-average temperatures will begin this upcoming holiday week, followed by much colder readings toward the end of the week.
We are also looking forward to the potential of another storm that could disrupt travel plans on Thanksgiving and Black Friday. All details are currently being worked out, with changes to the forecast likely to occur before the holidays.
At the very least, some areas may see only rain, while others may see a mix of rain and snow.
