A Manhattan judge has set the federal trial against Mayor Eric Adams to begin on April 21, 2025, just two months before the Democratic primary, where the mayor plans to run for re-election.
“I think it’s important that the public has an answer” to Adams’ case before the primaries, Judge Dale Ho said Friday in federal court in Lower Manhattan.
Adams has pleaded not guilty to a criminal charge of bribery.
