CHICAGO (CBS) — Justin Timberlake will still perform at the United Center on Friday and Saturday nights, despite his arrest on drunken driving charges earlier this week.

The United Center told CBS 2 on Wednesday that he will still perform the two shows. He will perform at the stadium on Friday and Saturday nights as part of his “Forget Tomorrow” world tour, performing songs from his upcoming new album, “Everything I Thought I Was;” his latest single ‘Selfish’ and popular hits from recent years.

early Tuesday, Timberlake was arrested in Sag Harbor, Long Island, New York, in the Hamptons, about 100 miles east of New York City. He was charged with driving under the influence after allegedly running a stop sign.

Court documents show Timberlake was pulled over at 12:37 a.m. Eastern Time after a police officer saw him blowing a stop sign in a gray BMW and then failing to keep to the right side of the road.

The officer said Timberlake was “in an intoxicated state” and that “his eyes were bloodshot and glassy, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was coming from his breath,” and that he “performed poorly on all standard field sobriety tests.” He also refused a breath test three times, documents said.

Timberlake was arraigned late Tuesday morning in Sag Harbor Village Justice Court and released on his own recognizance.

In addition to the Chicago shows, Timberlake also has shows at Madison Square Garden in New York City next week – as well as shows in Boston, Baltimore and other US locations before embarking on the international tour.
