CHICAGO (CBS) — Inmates at the Cook County Jail got a chance to let loose Saturday morning when actor Kevin Bacon performed at the prison with his brother.
It’s part of a partnership with Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart to provide art, music and inspiration to inmates.
Bacon also answered questions from the audience about his music and acting career.
“I’m working on a TV show that’s coming out mid-year,” he said. “I have a movie that’s — well, I don’t really know what it’s called. We’re still trying to find distribution for it, but you know, I’m still begging.”
Bacon also talked about a number of community engagement projects through his non-profit organization Six Degrees.
