Several musicians and A-listers will join Vice President Kamala Harris to rally supporters and mobilize voters concert and rally in Philadelphia on Monday evening prior to Election Day.
According to the Harris campaign, the vice president will be joined by DJ Cassidy, Fat Joe, Freeway and Just Blaze, Lady Gaga, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Ricky Martin, The Roots, Jazmine Sullivan and Adam Blackstone and Oprah Winfrey.
The event takes place at the bottom of the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. The Art Museum is also closed on Mondays.
The rally and concert are the Harris-Walz campaign’s latest effort to get voters to the polls ahead of Election Day Tuesday.
Harris will be joined by Second Gen. Dough Emhoff at the campaign stop in Philadelphia, and another Get Out The Vote rally and concert earlier Monday in Pittsburgh.
The Harris-Walz campaign said they believe having artists and public figures join these rallies and lay out the stakes of the 2024 election will encourage people who follow them or are inspired by them to vote .
The rallies and concerts are part of a larger series of events the campaign is hosting in all seven battleground states leading up to Election Day, according to a press release from Harris’ team.
The Get Out The Vote events will be shown in a national livestream to reach voters across the country, highlighting the rallies, performances and speeches from each battleground state, the campaign said.
