Sept. 20 – WILKES-BARRE – PennDOT announced Friday that lane restrictions will be in effect on Interstate 81 northbound and southbound the week of Sept. 23, as follows:
—Interstate 81 northbound and southbound from Exit 206 (Glenwood/Lenoxville) and Exit 223 (New Milford/Lakeside) in Susquehanna County from Monday, September 23 through Thursday, September 26, between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. for guardrail repairs.
—Interstate 81 southbound from Exit 155 (Dorrance) to Exit 151 (Stroudsburg) in Luzerne County on Wednesday, September 25, between 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. for line flushing.
—Interstate 81 southbound from Exit 151 (Stroudsburg) to Exit 145 (Hazleton) in Luzerne County on Thursday, September 26 between 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. for line flushing.
—Interstate 81 northbound between Exit 143 (Hazleton) and Exit 145 (West Hazleton) in Luzerne County on Friday, September 27 between 1:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. to perform maintenance on the road sensors.
