Croghan Colonial Bank has partnered with the Oak Harbor Police Department, Sandusky County Sheriff’s Office, the Norwalk Police Department and Light House Sober Living for upcoming Bright Futures events.
Community members, educators, parents and guardians are invited to these free events to raise awareness about the dangers of drugs, peer pressure and the importance of financial responsibility. Participants will learn the tools and knowledge needed to talk openly with their children about these topics, according to a news release.
The event speakers will include Croghan employees, who will share information about financial education and introduce useful options that Croghan offers. Next, representatives from local law enforcement agencies will discuss how children today face peer pressure. Finally, local recovering addicts will share their stories, bringing attention to local drug use.
