A Leesport man was fatally shot early Saturday in Tilden County, according to state police at the Hamburg Station.
Dawson Mohl, 24, was killed in what troopers classified as negligent homicide in the 1300 block of Hex Highway.
Troopers said they were dispatched at 12:18 p.m. for a reported gunshot victim inside a residence. Officers attempted life-saving measures, but were unsuccessful and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said they executed a search warrant and collected evidence from the home. Further details were missing on Saturday.
